New governance framework for cleantech funding
On June 4, 2024, the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, announced that over the coming months, Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC) programming will transition to the National Research Council of Canada (NRC). This transition will ensure continued support for clean technology innovations, crucial for meeting Canada's climate targets.
