Our Quantum and Nanotechnologies Research Centre's Nanomaterial Depositions and Characterizations team is comprised of experienced researchers and technicians who have expertise in depositing and advancing inorganic nanomaterials, as well as methods for their characterization. Key application areas of interest include biosensing, energy systems, and composite materials. For example, nano-enabled biosensors allow for rapid detection of food-borne pathogens, and hybrid carbon nanotubes and ceramic materials enable lightweight armour.
