Canada-UK biomanufacturing – information session and virtual matchmaking event

Registration is now open for 2 upcoming events, jointly hosted by Innovate UK (part of UK Research and Innovation) and the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP). These events are in support of the Canada–UK collaborative call for proposals on enabling technologies and innovations for biomanufacturing of biologics and advanced therapeutics.

The call for proposals is open to Canadian small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and other Canadian collaborators who wish to collaborate on research and development projects with U.K. partners in the area of biomanufacturing of biologics and advanced therapeutics technologies.

Collaborators could include:

• other Canadian SMEs
• NRC researchers
• universities
• research technology organizations
• other organizations
• large enterprises and industries

  • This information session will provide interested participants with detailed information on the scope of the call for proposals and the application process

• Virtual matchmaking (English only)
  • This Virtual matchmaking platform will provide interested participants with an opportunity to network, discuss project ideas and form project consortiums
  • Create your profile on the matchmaking platform
