Victoria: Major construction work on Observatory Road

Description: The National Research Council of Canada will be carrying out roadwork at the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory. The repairs will rebuild a retaining wall on the side of the main road. During the repairs, traffic will be reduced to a single lane in the affected area. Automated lights will be used to control traffic, and their signals must be respected at all times to ensure everyone's safety.

Time: Starting October 3, 2022 for 3 and a half months. Construction activities will be limited to Monday to Friday from 7 am to 5 pm when possible, but weekend work may be necessary.

Disturbance: Moderate-level noise due to the heavy equipment required to complete this work.
