Council Member
Norma Beauchamp is the former President and CEO of Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
An accomplished business and non-profit leader, she brings 30 years of senior executive leadership experience in Canada and internationally, including leadership roles with Bayer Inc. and Sanofi Canada, and global assignments based in Germany.
Ms. Beauchamp currently serves on the boards of Extendicare, Aurora Cannabis Inc., HLS Therapeutics, and the private companies Accerta, Psygen, and SynuCure. She also volunteers as a Mentor and Ambassador with Women Get on Board. In recognition of her governance leadership, BMO named her an honoree in its annual Celebrating Women on Boards program in 2021. CEO Magazine included her among Canada's Global Top 50 Over 50 in 2025.
She holds Bachelor of Business Administration from Bishop's University and earned the ICD.D designation through the Director's Education Program at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management.
Ms. Beauchamp was initially appointed to the NRC Council in June 2019 and re-appointed for a third term in February 2026.
