Bradley Goodyear is the Director General of Division Services for the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP). He joined the NRC in 1997.

As Director General of NRC IRAP Division Services, Brad has accountabilities for finance, policy, business processes, and information management. Prior to assuming his current role, Brad led NRC IRAP's Atlantic and Nunavut region for over 6 years, providing R&D advice and financial assistance to hundreds of firms annually.

Brad is a strong proponent of the "lean" philosophy, and champions it in NRC IRAP, engaging the people who directly serve the client and execute the organization's key business processes, with a view to improving client service and minimizing waste.

Prior to joining the NRC, Brad spent 9 years with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, as well as several years in the private sector.

Brad's educational background includes studies in information technology and business administration.
