Roles and responsibilities

Research in photonic integrated circuit components and technologies for sensing, astronomy, communication.  My work involves the simulation, design, layout, experimental characterization of integrated photonic technologies.

Current research and/or projects

Development of chip-scale, compact, correlation spectroscopy techniques for remote sensing of atmospheric gases for Earth and astronomy.  Optical satellite communication technologies using integrated photonics, beamforming, artificial intelligence, and fiber optics.
