Materials engineer with a Ph.D. in corrosion science and electrochemistry. Focusing on research related to corrosion performance of various materials used in critical infrastructure, evaluation of construction materials corrosion performance and assessment of durability of materials used in various industries and service conditions

Current research and/or projects

  • Project manager of durability assessment of various coatings for corrosion prevention of potable water tank of icebreaking ships.
  • Technical lead for galvanic corrosion risk assessment of ASTM A1010 structural steel used in bridges of Ontario and its bolt connections.
  • Technical lead for Corrosion design of structural steel for climate change adaptation, and assessment of new corrosion risk by climate change.
  • Technical lead of Corrosion Condition Assessment for Halifax Class Frigates.
