To report misuse of the CCMC mark

The CCMC mark is authorized only for use on products that have been assessed by CCMC and must not be used to misrepresent or imply assessment beyond the scope (if any) considered by the CCMC. Assessment holders that are found to be violating the authorized use of the CCMC mark may be subject to sanctions by the CCMC, including but not limited to: withdrawal of the CCMC assessment; publication of this withdrawal of the CCMC assessment; and/or potential legal action.
Reporting a misuse of the CCMC mark supports the continued trust and support of CCMC assessments. To be considered, all reports of misuse must be submitted online and include all of the required information. CCMC will not consider reports where no supporting evidence is provided.

As a service provided by the Government of Canada, the CCMC operates according to the values and ethics of the public service. For certified products, it also operates in compliance with the ISO/IEC 17065 standard "Conformity assessment – Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services," which is the international standard for the operation of product certification bodies.
